What is a genius? One of the best definitions of genius, which I have seen in many psychology research papers is that a genius is the eminent achiever and therefore it is really easy to pick them out of society because they are the people who are doing well in industry academics, government and the sciences. They end up at the top of the food chain because they are able to work at very high levels and make fewer mistakes.
This propels their careers and yet if you interview a genius and ask them how they did it; they will generally say something like:
I was just lucky
I was in the right place at the right time
The cards just seem to fall my way
I was working with a very good team
And these geniuses will blame it on all kinds of other things except the fact the they are a genius. In the right place at the right time; hardly? Many of them when asked actually believe this to be the case, but is it reality? Are Those We Consider Creative Geniuses just Lucky?
Indeed, if geniuses are really just lucky and they are not geniuses at all. Geniuses are geniuses for a reason and they will be eminent achievers in whatever they do or where ever their career takes them.
